  • I Can Buys War Bonds?
A retro-future war bond poster mod for Fallout 4, featuring a lol cat in the series' iconic power armor helmet. "Forque" and "Snickles" fonts by Tup Wanders.
    Quilt Curtain
This is a concept and final texture I created for the Fallout: New Vegas mod "Beyond Boulder Dome." It's used as the backdrop to the stage which was constructed in a cavern where Boulder, Colorado's nostalgic nuclear war survivors now live. They constructed the quilt from scrap fabric recovered from the ruins above. The curtain is an homage to the historic Boulder Theater, using a blue rocket to fit Fallout's Atomic Age style, and a stylized representation of the Flatirons mountains, a common symbol of Boulder.
    Vintage-Style Board Games
Parody board game boxes for the Fallout: New Vegas fan mod "Beyond Boulder Dome." Since the game series features a retro-future design, I used that aesthetic to create these. Plutonium Dash is based on a real '50s game called Uranium Rush. Font credits: "Becker Black NF" by Nick's Fonts. "Noodle Script" by Dave Bastian. "Handserif" by 5inq. "Forque" by Tup Wanders. "Old Standard" by Alexey Kryukov.
    EverDead Day Level Mockup
This is a mockup of icons and user interface elements I created for the day levels in RatDog Games' zombie survival game, EverDead, which is in development for iOS platforms. The actual city background was drawn by another artist. I created the paper textures by combining my scans, then digitally painting them to appear dirty and yellow. For the icons, I went with a ballpoint pen and paint style to give the menu a worn sketchbook look since it contains info I imagine the player character writing in a journal. The icons represent: end-of-day report, food, water, scrap metal, and recruited survivors. To make room, the icons for antidote and the store were moved to the bottom right. When a numbered icon is pressed, a little paper flies out containing its stats and the option to purchase more from the store. The city uses GPS-inspired icons. Player-related icons are blue and include the player (triangle), starting point (camp), stop along path (there are two choices for the developer: footprint or flag), and end point (X). Other non-hostiles (green icons) use the same circle shape for easy identification and include traveling salesman (two choices: salesman or wagon), and new survivors (panicking figure). The enemies (zombie and bandit) use irregular shapes and harsh contrasts to stand out more.
    EverDead Night Level Mockup
This is a mockup of one of the night backgrounds and icons I drew for RatDog Games' zombie survival game, EverDead, which is in development for iOS platforms. The timeline up top features, from left to right, characters in the player's party by class (soldier, mechanic, scavenger), equipment deployed by mechanics (defense, offense), then enemies (bandit, zombie). On the bottom left are action buttons which allow the character to move, return to camp, dismantle equipment, or repair equipment. On the sidewalk is an extra scrap metal pickup.
    Kozmos Habitat Assets
These are main habitat and UI assets I created for RatDog Games' virtual pet app "Kozmos: Virtual Pets." UI elements were created in a slicker style to stand out, while assets in the habitat are more cartoony to match the style of the monsters and their environment. The faces show overall contentment, while the thought bubbles indicate the monster's current state. The bottom icons are food, toys, wash, games, and shop.
    Park Background
This is one of five night backgrounds I drew for RatDog Games' zombie survival game, EverDead, which is in development for iOS platforms. Painted in Photoshop. This one is designed to be general to cover areas such as the park, school, church, cemetery, and library.
    Strip Mall Background
This is one of five night backgrounds I drew for RatDog Games' zombie survival game, EverDead, which is in development for iOS platforms. Painted in Photoshop.

    Boxy's Box
This is a "hat" for the Boulder Dome fan mod for Fallout: New Vegas being worn by a basic head mesh from the game. Composed of 308 triangles and modeled in Blender. Boxy is an actor who lives in an underground town, where everything the people own was scavenged from the apocalyptic wasteland above. The texture was achieved by assembling various cardboard scans and actually painting the design on cardboard.
